Just as an aside, Will Schutz would say:
"I like you because I like myself in your presence." Thinking
of vibrations, I might say: "I like you because there is
some way to resonate with you!" Above, I was careful to
make a link between resonance and agreement (also, discord with
disagreement).
Now, we can see a possibility that disagreement is the withdrawing
or withholding resonance. I would go so far as to say that our
awareness (or mind) is our aiming mechanism for directing our vibrational
agreement. Also, while our thinking doesn't seem to have the
power to move objects, experiments have shown one person's thoughts
and feelings can impact on another person or a group. Science may
not say how but the news is in. Danah Zohar's book: QUANTUM SELF
shows how the new sciences can explain, what seems to be mystical
or miraculous.
Next I wish to use two painful examples, (the
second is a personal experience). If we can learn from another's
pain, then my anguish will have been worth it.

Holocaust:
The Story of Adolf Hitler's rise to power is well known. The
German nation had just come through their form of the great depression
(1930s) and Germany faced an incredible inflation when people were
paid twice a day so that earnings could be spent before devalued.
Hitler promised great things and people were ready to agree (resonate).
Yet, as we know, things went very wrong. Why would a whole nation
go along with the horror of holocaust? Horrors began in secret.
The Allied propaganda alerted the world, long before locals began
finding out the horrors. But, the horrors didn't begin until well
into Hitler's term of office, so there were months and years for
the population to build up a resonance around Hitler's accomplishments.
Even after, some horrors were coming to light, another Group Dynamics
term can describe things at that time.
