We Are Committed To:
1. Assisting people who wish to succeed in their
lifelong development.
2 . We bring to awareness hidden social forces that interfere with
a person's inborn sense of direction and ability.
This provides the necessary perspective for success.
3.. We also provide a safe place for Your ideas to emerge around Your
concerns!
Why?. . . . ."If you have life in
you, you have access to the secrets of the ages, for the truth of
the universe resides in each and every human being."
Morihei
Ueshiba, Founder of Aikido.
To make this happen:
1. We offer real-time reflection, one-to-one
or in a group (also, counselling if necessary).
2. We are determined to offer a nonjudgmental style; in contrast
with ordinary conversations.
3. We offer free information which is often lost in dusty libraries
and not available to many who need it!
4. Thus, Sounding Board entertains and encourages promising ideas
for increasing effectiveness, enjoyment and fulfillment in all aspects
of life!

Is It Worth Paying For?
One of the greatest hazards, in a trouble shooting
society is that criticism is lethal to ideas. "Half-baked" ideas get
wasted before they are fully "cooked." If it were not for this tendency,
we would have very few problems with people. Our staff have overcome
this harmful habit. Newborn ideas need protection and nurture until
they are ready for testing!
Cost of Adversarial Styles: Our sciences
have made great gains because of a critical analysis style of testing
ideas, but at a cost! Yet, in education, teachers and parents are
NOT careful to distinguish "the challenge of ideas" from "defeating
ideas." Of course, children learn this adversarial style as a game,
cruel as it might be. Competition in games gets transferred to life
experience. Criticism, thus, becomes an automatic reaction. But, this
habit kills creativity in conversation. It also makes people feel
unsafe while discussing their newborn ideas, which have not yet been
nurtured into useful shape.
